Landscape photography

Ashridge, CL Davies 2020

One thing that has been consistent in my practice as an artist over the years has been my photography. I have always been a keen photographer since before college, a love which was passed on to me from my dad, who also spent a lot of time documenting everything around him. As an educator, I have repeatedly stressed the importance of photography to the students I have taught, not only as a way of documenting their work and experiments but also to showcase their talents. Like most, my phone is my camera for most of the day and I use it to take quick snaps of my art experiments, landscapes, my pets and my kids. Here are a few of my favourite landscape snaps below.
